Sleep apnea solution

To establish a diagnosis of sleep apnea, you should consult your doctor. He may give you a prescription to get a sleep apnea test called polysomnography or respiratory polygraphy sleep. At Groupe Relève Santé we offer you the opportunity to take the test in the comfort of your home during a single night with a portable device suitable for home recording. Within six working days of your test, we guarantee the interpretation of the results along with recommendations by a doctor according to the standards of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM). Our specially trained therapist will inform you on how to use the device at home in a human and professional manner. Your doctor will be kept informed of the results at all time.Afterwards, we can help you find a sleep apnea solution.

A Holter monitor test is a non-invasive exam that continuously records all of a person’s heartbeats over a period of 24 to 48 hours.

The heartbeats are recorded on a memory card that is then analyzed by a cardiologist. At the appointment, a technologist will install the device and give instructions for the next 24 or 48 hours. Patients then carry on with their normal routine while wearing the device, which they must bring back at the time indicated by the technologist. The device must not get wet (in the pool, bath or shower), and patients must continue with their normal daily activities (note that sports must be avoided).

Test of the respiratory system

Spirometry is the most reliable way to test your lungs and check if you have chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and asthma.

Cardiac diagnosis with Cardiostat

A compact, discreet and exceptionally comfortable heart monitor that will keep you active throughout the day. You can continue to wear it during your workout and even in the shower. Registration possible for 48 hours, 7 days and 14 days. Finally a comfortable test without delay.

Uses sound waves (ultrasound) to create a picture of your heart

The recorded waves show the shape, texture and movement of your heart valves, as well as the size of your heart chambers and how well they are working. Echocardiography is painless; the test usually takes less than an hour to do.

How can I treat my sleep apnea ?

The Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) remains the treatment of choice for OSA. The air pressure generated by the device through a tube and mask keeps the upper airway open during your deep sleep. This airway pressure can effectively control your snoring, hypopnea and apnea and promotes a restful sleep. In order to have the right level of treatment pressure for programming your device, we will need a CPAP titration test recommended by most doctors. This is test is performed over 3 nights, always at home, with the device that will allow us to optimize your treatment. The Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) is the sleep apnea solution.

Our respiratory therapist will guide you through the process of the best therapy for sleep apnea that suits you. Because your sleep quality is our priority! We have the sleep apnea solution.
